Continued funding for European Digital Rights
European Digital Rights (EDRi) is committed to protecting digital rights in Europe. Goeie Grutten supports EDRi in its efforts to create a digital society centred on privacy, equal access and human rights. The organisation strengthens collaboration between digital rights and social welfare organisations, enabling them to jointly advocate for people who are excluded or disadvantaged by digitalisation. In addition, EDRi works to make advocacy more effective and is committed to limiting the impact of large-scale age verification and government surveillance, so that fundamental rights remain safeguarded in the digital age.
